This is still a problem in Buddypress 1.6.3. It makes having Mods pointless as they are cannot edit the group details or manage membership requests.

Just tried this on a test website with stock buddypress and no other plugins. The same thing happens.

Wordpress 3.5, buddypress 1.6.2, bbpress 2.2.3 for group forums and main forums.

I’ve got a problem where mods of groups just get told that ‘You are not an admin of this group.’ if they try to access the group admin tab.
